Panoramarama is a series of observations and experiments made with the smartphone panorama photo function. Opposed to the traditional way of making panoramas from one fixed point of view, these panoramas are taken in panning motion; mostly from moving vehicles such as cars, trains, trams, boats, or by walking or cycling along the subjects. Some of the photos are also partially constructed and edited digitally. Instead of producing neat 360-degree overviews, the playful results of Panoramarama compress reality into glitchyful long photos.
