Pintura Infinita Figurativa 2020
Pintura Infinita Figurativa and Pintura Infinita Abstracta are both inspired by Pinot Gallizio’s Industrial Painting. While Gallizio experimented with the technologies available for making a painting (painting making machine), I like to play with the idea of making a painting which consists of, potentially, an infinite amount of paintings.
The subjects in Endless Painting I are sketches made at different times and in different places. Initially they are part of different moments and stories, but here they are artificially and bluntly brought together to construct one single image.
